30 aspirants file nominations to contest NPP Western Regional executive positions

Thirty aspirants have officially filed nominations to compete for various executive positions within the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Ghana's Western Region. The candidates will undergo a vetting process between July 20 and July 21, 2026, to determine their eligibility for the upcoming internal elections.

Takoradi, July 18, GNA – Thirty aspirants have successfully filed their nominations to contest the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Western Regional executive positions.
Mr Ernest Nkrumah Taylor, the Western Regional NPP Elections and Research Officer, said after close of nomination on Friday, July 17, 2026, 30 out of the 32 aspirants who picked their forms for the various regional executive positions successfully filed their nominations.
