28th government exhibition begins in Tirunelveli with 31 stalls
A 45-day government exhibition has opened in Tirunelveli, featuring 31 stalls that showcase state welfare schemes and government department achievements. The event includes cultural programs and aims to educate the public on how to access government services.

District Collector Anand Mohan inaugurated the government exhibition at the grounds of Florence Swainson Higher Secondary School for the Deaf opposite Palayamkottai Central Prison here on Saturday.
The 45-day-long exhibition showcases the achievements and functioning of various government departments, welfare schemes of the State government and the directions to avail the assistances.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Anand Mohan said the Tamil Nadu Government, to popularise among the public its achievements, the welfare schemes and norms being followed to avail the assistances, had organised 235 government exhibitions in various districts since 1978 and 27 exhibitions in Tirunelveli.
The exhibition has stalls of 26 government departments and five Government of Tamil Nadu undertakings besides the usual private entertainment and eatery stalls, play arena and the stalls selling household and fancy articles. Government officials have been posted in each stall to explain about the welfare schemes and methods to avail the assistances.
