260 stolen, lost mobile phones recovered, returned to owners
Police in the Kanniyakumari district of India have recovered and returned 260 stolen or lost mobile phones to their owners. Authorities are encouraging citizens to use official portals to report lost devices for faster tracking.

Kanniyakumari District Superintendent of Police R. Stalin on Monday handed over 260 mobile phones, worth about ₹46 lakh, recovered by the police to their rightful owners here.
After owners of the mobile phones, which were either stolen or lost, filed complaints with the police, the cybercrime wing was actively involved in tracing and recovering them. As part of continued efforts, 260 mobile phones were traced and recovered.
With this, a total of 580 mobile phones worth around ₹1 crore has been recovered and handed over to their rightful owners in the district so far this year.
