The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) removed 243 encroachments across 16.55 km of roads, footpaths and public spaces as part of its weekly ‘Walk Free’ encroachment removal drive conducted across its three zones on Saturday (August 22).
The Quthbullapur Zone recorded the highest number of removals, with 122 encroachments cleared across seven km. Of these, 15 were removed in Chintal, 18 in Jeedimetla, 12 in Kompally, 20 in Gajularamaram, 16 in Nizampet, 18 in Dundigal and 23 in Medchal.
