240 recruits join Kerala Police
The Kerala Police held a passing-out parade for 240 new recruits, including members of the Special Armed Police and Women Battalion. Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala praised the force's commitment to protecting citizens' rights and maintaining law and order.

Kerala Police is the finest police force in the country and it has set an exemplary standard in protecting the lives and property of citizens and in maintaining law and order in the State, Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala said.
He was addressing a joint passing-out parade at the SAP Parade Ground, Peroorkada, Thiruvananthapuram, on Thursday.
He said that every police officer bears the huge responsibility of safeguarding the citizens’ rights guaranteed by the Constitution and in discharging one’s duties in tune with the society’s progress.
