24 deals worth US$150 mln signed at China-PSC entrepreneurs meeting in Mozambique
China and Portuguese-speaking countries signed 24 cooperation agreements worth $150 million at a recent entrepreneurs meeting in Mozambique. The event focused on infrastructure and logistics, marking the 10th anniversary of the China-Mozambique strategic partnership.

Some 24 co‑operation agreements worth about U$150 million were signed at the Entrepreneurs Meeting for Commercial and Economic Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries in Maputo, Macau’s Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) said..
The gathering on july 24, held at the Mozambique–China Cultural Centre, drew more than 350 government and business representatives from China, Mozambique, Macau, Hengqin and other regions. Centred on the theme “Investing in Logistics and Infrastructure: Driving the Engine of Development” , the meeting also featured over 200 business-matching sessions.
Officials present included Maputo Municipal Council president Rasaque Manhique, Mozambique’s transport minister João Jorge Matlombe, China’s ambassador Zheng Xuan, and senior representatives from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), IPIM and the Investment and Export Promotion Agency of Mozambique (APIEX).
