2027 Elections: Tinubu Names Senator Yari As Director-General Of APC Presidential Campaign Council

The appointments were contained in a statement issued by the Presidency on Saturday morning and signed by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy.
President Bola Tinubu has constituted the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council ahead of the 2027 general elections, naming former Zamfara State Governor, Senator Abdulaziz Yari, as Director-General.
Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State was appointed Secretary of the campaign council.
Tinubu will serve as Chairman of the council, while Vice President Kashim Shettima will be Vice-Chairman I.
APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, was named Vice-Chairman II.
The party's National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, will serve as Deputy Secretary, while Hadiza Bala-Usman was appointed Assistant Secretary.
