Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, on Tuesday inaugurated the Kano North Senatorial District Campaign Council for the 2027 general elections, urging party members and stakeholders to unite for the victory of all All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates. Barau charged the council to mobilise voters across the 13 local government areas of the senatorial district for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, himself as Kano North Senator, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and all APC candidates for the House of Representatives and State House of Assembly. The Deputy Senate President made the call in Kano, according to a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ismail Mudashir.
