Tonight, the biggest names in Hollywood are gathering Peacock Theater in Los Angeles where Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star Mariska Hargitay is hosting the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards.
The Pitt leads the way this year with 25 nominations including Best Drama Series, while Hacks earned 24 for its final season — the most nominations of any comedy series in Emmy history. Apple TV's horror comedy Widow's Bay earned 19 nominations for its debut season, followed closely by fellow newcomer, Pluribus with 18.
