₹200 crore sanctioned for 2027 Godavari Pushkaralu-related works in Dharmapuri constituency: Bhatti Vikramarka

Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said that ₹200 crore has been sanctioned for 2027 Godavari Pushkaralu-related development works in the Dharmapuri Assembly constituency. The works include construction of pushkar ghats at Dharmapuri and Kotilingala, the famous pilgrimage centres, in Jagtial district ahead of the Godavari Pushkaralu-2027.
Mr. Vikramarka, along with Social Welfare Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar, performed Bhoomi Puja for reconstruction of the Sri Ugra Narasimha Swamy temple in Dharmapuri at an estimated cost of ₹10 crore at 2.58 a.m. on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said the government had drawn up plans to organise the Godavari Pushkaralu in 2027 in a grand manner and develop major temples along the Godavari from Basar in Nirmal district to Bhadrachalam in Bhadradri Kothagudem district.
