20 booked for chaos at Adoor police station
Police have booked 20 individuals, including Youth Congress workers, for attempting to assault a YouTuber while he was being escorted to the Adoor police station. The YouTuber had been arrested following a defamation complaint filed by a local district panchayat member.

The Adoor police have registered a case against around 20 persons, including Youth Congress workers, in connection with an attempt to assault YouTuber Rajan Joseph while bringing him to the police station here on Sunday night.
According to the police, the accused allegedly attacked Mr.Joseph as well as the officers while the Youtuber was being escorted to the Adoor police station after being arrested from Kochi in connection with a defamation case. One police officer sustained minor injuries during the scuffle. A video purportedly showing Mr. Joseph being assaulted also surfaced on social media after the incident.
