Around 20,000 police personnel will be deployed across Hyderabad for the upcoming Ganesh idol immersion procession, with authorities conducting a joint inspection of the 19-km route from Balapur to Tank Bund on Tuesday, to ensure smooth and safe movement of idols.

Hyderabad City Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar, along with senior officials from the police, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA), Roads and Buildings Department and other line departments, inspected the procession route ahead of the immersion.

The officials travelled by a special bus from the Balapur Ganesh pandal through Chandrayangutta, Falaknuma, Charminar and M.J. Market before proceeding towards the Telangana Thalli Flyover. They stopped at key points, including Rajesh Medical Hall, Gulzar Houz, M.J. Market Junction and Telugu Thalli Junction, to assess road conditions, overhead clearances and height restrictions along the route.
