The Behemoth and the Leviathan were both closed on Monday , according to Grace Peacock, spokesperson for Canada’s Wonderland, which is owned by Six Flags.

"Out of an abundance of caution, we have temporarily closed similar attractions across our parks," said Peacock. "The safety of our guests and team members remains one of our highest priorities."

Officials did not confirm how the man died or how the others were injured, but witnessess described watching him come out of his seat on a ride. Detectives with the Cobb County Police Department’s major crimes unit are investigating.

There is no timeline as to when the rides will re-open, Peacock said.
