KANPUR: One trainee pilot and another instructor pilot were killed after a twin-engine training aircraft crashed in a field near Natthupurwa village, close to Ganga Barrage, in Kanpur on Thursday afternoon.Commissioner of police Raghubir Lal told reporters that a four-seater, twin-engine Tecnam aircraft, which had taken off from the Garg Aviation Training Center at around 11.30am, crashed around 11.50am under Gwaltohi police station limits in the outer area of Nathapurwa village."The accident resulted in the deaths of instructor Sachin Bhatia from Gujarat and trainee Abhishek Pujari from Karnataka," he added.The aircraft was a Tecnam P2006T operated by Garg Aviation, which has one such aircraft in its Kanpur fleet.The aircraft type and registration are yet to be officially confirmed by the Directorate General of…
