Two MLAs were among several people injured after an out-of-control car crashed into an SUV at the ITO traffic signal in Delhi on Sunday, police said. The accident took place in front of the old Police Headquarters.The SUV was carrying Anil Jha, the sitting MLA from Kirari Vidhan Sabha, and Abhay Patil, an MLA from Karnataka, when the collision occurred. All those involved sustained minor injuries and were taken to LNJP Hospital, where they were reported to be in stable condition, news agency ANI reported. How the ITO crash happenedAccording to Deputy Commissioner of Police (central) Rohit Ranbir Singh, the IP Estate police station received a call about the accident at around 9.30pm. Police teams reached the spot and found two damaged vehicles, both bearing Delhi registration numbers.
