ISLAMABAD - An Islamabad court sentenced two men to seven years' rigorous imprisonment each for obtaining and sharing sexually explicit material of a 12-year-old girl and using it to threaten her father.
According to the evidence cited in the judgment, Zeeshan Haider approached the girl near her home, got her father's phone number and later called at night, threatening her until she sent the material from her father's phone. In January 2024, he passed it to Tayyab Shahzad on Facebook Messenger. On 24 July 2024, Shahzad contacted the girl's father on WhatsApp from his own number and sent him the material, along with threats and abuse. The messages were later deleted from the chat but were recovered by forensic experts.
