$2.9 million raised so far for Malaysia’s ex-PM Najib, says DPM Zahid

Listen KUALA LUMPUR – The Najib Razak solidarity fund has raised RM9.25 million (S$2.9 million) as at Sept 27, but remains well short of its RM50 million target, said Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
The UMNO president said the remaining funds must be raised before former prime minister Najib’s house arrest can be fully implemented.
