LAHORE - Around 17,000 citizens on Sunday participated in the third online open court of Lahore Police, where DIG Operations Faisal Kamran directly responded to their questions and complaints. DIG Faisal Kamran said Lahore Police would adopt comprehensive security measures to ensure the safety of citizens during the upcoming Basant, adding that protection of life and property at major events was a fundamental responsibility of the police. He said the previous Basant was made safe through public cooperation and coordination among relevant departments, adding that coordinated arrangements were again being made with all concerned institutions for a secure event.
