16 school students injured in accident

Sixteen school students were injured in a bus accident near Kadavur after their vehicle collided with a lorry. All students were transported to a local hospital for treatment and are reported to be in stable condition.

Sixteen school students suffered injuries when a bus in which they were travelling hit an upcoming lorry at Sengattupatti near Kadavur on Wednesday.
While the bus belonging to a private school in Tharagampatti was proceeding from Palaviduthi, the lorry was coming from Karur when the accident occurred.
Acting on inputs, ambulances from Kadavur, Manapparai and other places rushed to the spot and transported the injured to the Government Hospital at Mylampatti. After the first aid, the injured students were admitted to a private hospital in Manapparai. The condition of the students was said to be normal.
