The annual charity and fundraising event is scheduled to take place on September 19, 2026, at the Posta Kijitonyama Grounds in Dar es Salaam, with funds raised expected to support academically capable students facing financial difficulties to pursue higher education.
Speaking in Dar es Salaam, Rotary Club of Dar es Salaam Oyster Bay President, Philippe Demoulin, said this year's target is to increase the amount raised in order to reach more students.
He said last year's Goat Races raised 158m/- after operational expenses, with the funds used to support students in paying tuition fees and meeting other educational expenses.
