HYDERABAD: Seven persons, including three minors, were arrested and remanded to judicial custody in a Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocso) case involving the alleged sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl in Siddipet district. The incident took place on Dasara when the girl’s parents had gone out for agricultural work, police said.According to Maddur sub-inspector MD Asif, the seven accused allegedly took her to a neighbouring village on Dasara and left her back in her village the following morning.When the girl did not return home through the night, her parents began enquiring about her whereabouts. They later learnt that she had allegedly been taken away and sexually assaulted.
