133 kg of banned tobacco products seized

Police said the Achanpudur police during a routine vehicle check-up on Achanpudur – Kasidharmam main road recently intercepted a car. When the police checked the vehicle, they found 133 kg of banned tobacco products, worth about ₹94,400, in the vehicle.
Besides seizing the vehicle with the tobacco products, the police also arrested the occupants of the car, who were identified as G. Shahul Hameed, 44, and S. Tajudeen, 47, both hailing from Achanpudur.
