13 injured as private bus overturns on NH-16 in Krishna district

Thirteen passengers were injured after a private bus belonging to YMB Travels overturned near Telaprolu village in Krishna district in the early hours of Tuesday.
According to the police, the accident occurred at around 2.30 a.m. on the national highway-16 when the overspeeding bus travelling from Chennai to Visakhapatnam, in a bid to overtake a vehicle ahead, hit the divider, climbed onto it and oveturned on the other side of the highway. In the aftermath, 13 of the total 25 passengers suffered injuries. They received first-aid at the Dr. Pinnamaneni Siddhartha Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Foundation and left for their respective destinations.
