The winners of the Achiever Award are T.K. Chandiran, Chairman and Managing Director, SCM Group of Companies; K. Thangaraj, molecular geneticist and population scientist; Lakshmi Vijayakumar, psychiatrist and founder of SNEHA; Thota Tharani, art director and painter; S. Ramakrishnan, writer; and Mohammed Riaz, former captain of the Indian Hockey Team.
