12 kg hashish oil worth ₹1.5 crore seized in Hyderabad, three held

Hyderabad police arrested three individuals and seized 12 kg of hashish oil worth ₹1.5 crore in a coordinated operation. The suspects were allegedly transporting the contraband from the Narsipatnam-Chintapally region to Hyderabad.

The Special Operations Team (SOT) of Uppal Zone, in coordination with Kushaiguda Police, busted a hashish oil transportation network and arrested three suspected drug peddlers, seizing 12 kg of hashish oil worth an estimated ₹1.5 crore.
The arrests were made on September 7 after police received information that three persons carrying hashish oil would arrive near Road No. 5 in Nagarjuna Nagar Colony, Kushaiguda, between 3.30 p.m. and 4 p.m. to deliver the consignment. Acting on the information, the police kept surveillance at the location. At around 4 p.m., police spotted the three suspects arriving with a violet-coloured carrying bag and apprehended them before they could hand over the consignment to the intended recipient.
