Twelve government hospitals in the State have been selected for the Swachh Andhra State-Level Awards –2026 for meeting the standards of cleanliness required for a hospital.

A release from the Department of Health, Medical and Family Welfare on Thursday said the hospitals were selected based on inspections conducted on various aspects of cleanliness as part of the Swarna Andhra - Swachh Andhra programme.

Third-party agencies were roped in to inspect hospitals. Following the final assessment, 12 hospitals were selected for the awards. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu would present the awards to the hospital managements on Friday.
