12,301 candidates appear for AEE recruitment exam on Day 1
Over 12,000 candidates participated in the first day of a five-day recruitment exam for Assistant Executive Engineer positions in Andhra Pradesh power utilities. The exam is part of a large-scale hiring process for over 600 vacancies across state energy departments.

The five-day recruitment examination for 629 Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) posts in the State power utilities commenced on Sunday.
Of the 16,183 candidates registered for the civil engineering stream, 12,301 appeared for the Computer-Based Test on the first day, according to a press release issued by APTransco Joint Managing Director G. Surya Sai Praveenchand.
A total of 1,05,566 candidates have applied for the 629 AEE posts in APGenco, APTransco and the three DISCOMs, he said.
