115 CISF personnel join force after specialised training at National Industrial Security Academy in Hakimpet

A total of 115 Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel, including 30 Assistant Commandants and 85 Sub-Inspectors (Fire), completed specialised training at the National Industrial Security Academy (NISA) in Hakimpet, Hyderabad.

The academy hosted the Passing Out Parade of the 19th batch of Assistant Commandants (Departmental Entry) and the 14th batch of Sub-Inspectors (Fire). Padmakar S. Ranpise, Special Director General (South), CISF, reviewed the parade.

The Assistant Commandant batch comprised 30 serving CISF personnel, including two women, selected for promotion through the UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant Limited Departmental Competitive Examination. The 85 Sub-Inspectors (Fire) were selected through the SSC CPO examination.

The Sub-Inspectors (Fire) underwent 21 weeks of industrial security training at NISA followed by 34 weeks of specialised fire training at the Fire Service Training Institute. Their training included firefighting, rescue and emergency response, and industrial fire safety.
