11 Bangladeshi nationals for visa overstay, sent to detention centre: Delhi Police
Delhi Police apprehended 11 Bangladeshi nationals for overstaying their visas in India. The individuals have been moved to a detention center pending deportation proceedings.

Eleven Bangladeshi nationals have been apprehended for violating double-entry visas and overstaying in India, Delhi Police said on Wednesday.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) Rohit Rajbir Singh said the 11 individuals were identified during a special drive to identify foreign nationals overstaying or breaching visa norms.
“During patrolling in Paharganj, we received information about Bangladeshi nationals staying in Delhi despite the expiry of their visas,” said the officer.
Based on the tip-off, they apprehended a man named Nayeem Ahmed, who the police claim is a resident of Sylhet, Bangladesh.
Based on his disclosure, the police raided a flat in Hauz Rani in Malviya Nagar from where the remaining were apprehended.
