Observing that the State government has successfully completed 100 days by prioritising public welfare despite severe financial constraints, Keralam Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala pointed out the absence of labour strikes during this year’s Onam as evidence of stable governance. Speaking at the inauguration of the Chavara constituency MLA office for Forest, Wildlife, and Skill Development Minister Shibu Baby John, he reaffirmed the cabinet’s commitment to delivering all entitled benefits to common citizens.
Reflecting on recent political developments, Mr. Chennithala lauded Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP) for its strategic maturity in the Payyannur election segment. “Although the seat was allotted to the RSP within the United Democratic Front (UDF) alliance, the party leadership — including Shibu Baby John showed maturity by waiving their right to field a candidate on their own symbol to support Kunhikrishnan instead,” he said.
