10 booked, five two-wheelers seized after minors perform dangerous stunt on Pollachi Road

Five juveniles and owners of five two-wheelers were booked after a video of a group of 11 minors performing a dangerous motorcycle stunt on Coimbatore–Pollachi Road surfaced. The police also seized the five two-wheelers the minors used for the stunts.
According to the police, a video featuring a group of youth riding motorcycles in a reckless manner on the Coimbatore–Pollachi Road near Ezhur Pirivu within the limits of Chettipalayam police station a few days ago was widely circulated on social media. Pillion riders were seen dragging the centre stand of the two-wheelers on the road, creating sparks and compromising public safety.
A special team headed by Chettipalayam Inspector Selvaragavan launched an investigation and found that 11 school students from the Kinathukadavu area had been involved in the incident.
