1.84 lakh Ganesh idols immersed across five city corporations in Bengaluru on Monday
Over 1.84 lakh Ganesh idols were immersed across five city corporations in Bengaluru following the festival. The Greater Bengaluru Authority managed the process through a network of mobile tanks and designated lake premises.

As many as 1.84 lakh Ganesha idols were immersed in mobile tanks and permanent and temporary immersion ponds on lake premises across the five city corporations under the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) on Monday.
The highest number of immersions was recorded at the West City Corporation, with 1.2 lakh idols immersed. West was followed by Central City Corporation with 28,860, North with 16,857, South with 10,372, and East with 8,460.
For Ganesha idol immersion, the GBA had arranged 42 lake premises and temporary immersion tanks and 659 mobile tanks across the five corporations. The mobile tanks were provided on a ward-wise basis.
